The practice has a full ante-natal and post-natal service provided by our midwives. This involves shared care between the midwife, the doctor and the hospital. The ante-natal clinics are held on Monday and Tuesdays.

Asthma/COPD Clinic

We aim to provide continued monitoring and care of asthma/COPD patients, and help them to improve self management. Appointments are offered to all patients with asthma/COPD to attend for annual review with the practice nurse. Children with asthma are reviewed on a more regular basis depending on the severity of their asthma, appointments are given every three to six months. Where appropriate, respiratory tests are performed to confirm the diagnosis and continually monitor progress using computerised vitalographic equipment. Patients can have their peak flow and inhaler techniques reviewed and get up to date information about new medications. Patients are advised to bring all their medicines/inhalers and anything else that they use with them.
